Sharon is our company's Broker, owner, and top selling Real Estate Agent and our rock! In less than 5 years of adding the world renowned RE/MAX name to the successful Fairlane Realty Inc. Company, Sharon was inducted into the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame for her sales performance. This past year she received the Platinum Award. That's no surprise as Sharon has been putting buyers and sellers like you together in our local market since 1979. Drawing on her mantra of getting the job done, Sharon enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge with both her team of agents and her loyal clientele. She is very results oriented and recognizes the importance of pricing and promotion when selling a house. Clients say they like her win-win, straightforward approach from staging the home through the RE/MAX Fit to Sell program to the final negotiations. When Sharon is not listing and selling real estate she is mentoring her Sales Team. You might also know her from the curling rink where she both curls and sponsors the young junior curlers. This year the team was Mary Myketyn-Driscoll, Taylor Clarke, Mackenzie Proctor, and Sarah Sears, and their Coach Jim Burgess. They won the Nova Scotia Junior Girls Curling title and represented Nova Scotia at the 2013 Canadian Junior Championships in Fort McMurray, Alberta. She is often promoting the Truro Rotary Club where she has been an active member since 2002. Sharon has been heavily involved in organized Real Estate over the years at a local and provincial level on the provincial Education Committee as a Past President and on several Adhoc committees and has also served a 2 year term as the Atlantic Representative at the RE/MAX Ontario/Atlantic Broker Council. That zest to make a difference in the community led her to a second term as the President of the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society where she has helped them purchase their Hospice Center at 89 Queen Street. Now as official Past President she hopes to continue to contribute to the Society's growth. Sharon has resided in the Valley area for years and is interested in its continued development. Her keen interest in education has earned her a SRES designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist) to better serve our aging population. When it's time to relax, Sharon jumps at the opportunity to travel, especially in the Caribbean and Arizona, Nevada and of course her native New Brunswick. When she's home, you'll find her in the garden and spending time with her life partner Orland and his four grandchildren: Sophie, who is 10, 12 year old Josie, Gabrielle age 5 and her baby brother, Alexandre, 3. They, like Sharon, are bilingual. In the summer you may even find them on the Washademoak Lake in Cambridge Narrows, NB. If you are buying or selling you will want to put this enthusiastic, high-energy woman to work for you. Tap into her wealth of experience and knowledge, she loves to share it.
